The glowing and radiant bride knows that "Healthy inside equals Beauty outside!" Beautiful skin and a calm composure starts with healthy habits. The following advice is great for anyone, especially the blushing bride. So, let's take care of ourselves – starting today.

• Get involved in a yoga class or weekly one-on-one sessions with a professional. You'll learn breathing and balancing exercises that will help you throughout your life. Submitted by: Deborah Thum, The Zen of Beauty, Scottsdale, AZ. 480-393-3127. www.thezenofbeauty.com

• When it comes to losing weight, there is nothing like a wedding date as a deadline to make you focus! However, now is not the time to start a cabbage soup diet or any other fad diet. Such a diet can be to the detriment of your health, skin, hair, nails etc and you want to look your best on your big day.

• EFA oils are good for your skin and help keep you hydrated. They are also good to keep your hormones in check. Look for Omega 3, 6, 9 and flaxseed oil in the refridgerated section of your favorite health food store. • Mental health tip: Ensure you take time out to just be a couple – no wedding talk – just enjoying each others company.

• A little fresh-squeezed lemon juice in some water every morning
will help detox the body which leads to healthy skin and feeling better overall. Submitted by: Deborah Thum, The Zen of Beauty, Scottsdale, AZ. 480-393-3127. www.thezenofbeauty.com

• If you know that your eating habits are not what they should be, it may be a question of eating less chips and sweets and avoiding soda and alcohol. If it is more serious than that, you might want to get some professional advice on how to improve your diet.

• It is a fact, that after just 20 minutes of aerobic exercise your body releases endorphins which are chemicals in the brain that promote a positive mindset. Sometimes getting additional exercise into your daily routine can be as simple as leaving the car at home, or taking the stairs up to your office rather than the elevator. Other times you will need a more direct approach particularly if you have problem areas you wish to tackle. There are lots of gyms around that offer help and advice on getting an exercise routine that is right for you. The best bet? Keep motivated with a personal trainer, either at home, or in a gym.
